The Business Case for ICRA

This informative panel discussion of healthcare experts will examine the ramifications of utilizing ICRA in the construction process.  We’ll briefly cover what Infection Control risk Assessment is. Then we’ll move on to an informative discussion on how it addresses patient, caregiver, and staff safety and comfort.  Topics to be covered include:

Health Safety Wellness: learn about Airflow requirements, phasing requirements and construction requirements and what the cost implications are due to duplication of systems, or relocation of people and departments.

Occupant Comfort: Learn what construction processes affect staff and patient comfort during construction.  Learn what might affect staff productivity and their ability to serve patients and families.

Building Systems: Learn how properly designed mechanical and physical barriers during the construction process affect project costs.  Learn what the costs of improperly designed systems can do to the patient care experience. 

Legal: learn about the cost implications of construction related infections at hospitals and creative ways of managing those expenses.

As the Vice President of Operations, Bryan is responsible for oversight of the lab, pharmacy, rehabilitation, imaging, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology and facility services as well business functions within the hospital setting. With over 22 years of experience in the industry, Bryan is very knowledgeable in managing and juggling multiple operations within the hospital.
